A new weekday DEMU special train service began operating between Hosapete Junction and Arsikere Junction through Kotturu, Davanagere and Kadur. The service is expected to improve daytime rail connectivity for students, employees, traders and regular passengers travelling across central Karnataka. The new train provides another convenient transportation option for people travelling through Davanagere.
