Karnataka Higher Education Minister Basavaraj Rayareddy said the government would examine a proposal to establish a new government first-grade college in Davanagere South. At the same time, the government is focusing on improving infrastructure and facilities at existing government colleges. The proposal could provide additional higher-education opportunities for students in and around Davanagere South if approved.
